CASE STUDY: '09 Acura TSX - Will the "BEAK" Become the Next "Bangle Butt?"

Agent00J submitted on 5/8/2008 Official Bell & Ross Timestamp: 10:22:43 AM

The spy photos weren't all that kind, the actual prototypes shown at auto shows drew very strong reaction, but in the flesh is the new design direction taken by Acura a move meant to excite, or annoy current and future owners of Acura products. YESTERDAYS NEWS - 2009 Chevy Camaro

Agent00J submitted on 5/6/2008 Official Bell & Ross Timestamp: 11:20:52 AM

With so much hype thrown around regarding the 2009 (or will it be a 2010?) Chevy Camaro, one has to wonder how much excitement will there be when (or if) the Camaro ever actually hits showroom floors. Let's face it, with so much development time already spent, and so many "leaked" spy photos that Bob Lutz himself ordered that no more camouflage be used on test vehicles, will the next Camaro be just another blip on the radar of well intentioned GM cars that were executed horribly?I am not a huge GM fan, but the initial photos and prototypes had me excited that perhaps there is a GM car in the future that I might consider, but - we are 3+ years into "development," everyone and their mother has seen this car in some way shape or form. Is Jaguar’s XF good enough to compete with the best???

Agent00J submitted on 5/3/2008 Official Bell & Ross Timestamp: 7:42:08 AM

Jaguar has a lot riding on the success of its newest midsize luxury sedan the XF.   Initial press has been pretty generous to the newest cat, but the question remains, is it enough to run with, and ultimately beat the best of the class?  In a culture that yearns to have something newer and better than everyone else, the Jaguar certainly has a lot of style and charm going for it.
