Ford needs to stick with pointing out how there cars are "better" than either Toyota or Honda,(Not saying they are better, just stating what they are claiming) like the Fusion commercials. Cause really, who in their right mind, if in the market for a X5, would ever shop for a Fusion? I guess it does let those that buy a Ford Edge that pull up next to an X5 3.0 Badge Snob to be able to kind of go "hehe". Other than that it's pointless.

I think that Ford misses the mark on this one. Sure, it might appeal to someone looking for a little oneupsmanship in the comparison to the BMW, but no one is really going to think that an Edge is a better car than the X5. This ad left me with the following question: Would I rather be going "scary fast" in a Ford or a BMW when it comes time to stop or turn?
Also, if Ford really wanted to make a statement, they have raced the 350HP 4.8 X5 (good luck there Ford) and not the 3.0 model.
