As we’ve reported before, Volkswagen is working with sister brand Audi on a new four-door coupe, internally known as the CC or I/O 511. According to Automobilvoche, Volkswagen is set to release the new four-door coupe in the middle of May 2008 with a pricing strategy that will avoid for the car to be positioned to close to the Audi A5. In other words, a poor man’s Audi A5.
The entry level model will be powered by a 1.8 TSI engine producing 160 horsepower and is priced at 30,000 euros.
