| Auto Spies perspective- Our choice in order is:
- Mercedes-Benz
- BMW
- Well, there is no number three…
Aside from MB and BMW, the others should be ashamed of what they give the customer, to help them contemplate the purchase of cars, costing as much as some homes. Frankly, we’re surprised YOU picked Porsche as number two. We think they are the second most disappointing brochures, next to Lexus. Those small ‘booklets’ (we don’t think they deserve the right to be described as brochures) are lame at best. Porsche is missing a great opportunity, to gain advantage over their competition. Why not offer a deluxe brochure, similar to the style of some of our favorites (introduction 2000 S-class brochure or BMW 745)? We think even if you had to charge for it ($20 bucks) people would pay for them. You could also refund the cost if they end up buying the car. And as far as Lexus goes, the brochures are even more boring than the cars. They look like ads for aromatherapy spas. Finally, we think every high-end car company should provide customers with digital photos (emailed to customers) of the status of their vehicle through the production process.
