Michigan drivers will soon be able to have an AI system scan their cars for tire trouble, fluid leaks, underbody damage, and exterior blemishes without paying a cent. It sounds useful, and it could be, despite this particular technology arriving with some baggage.
LaFontaine Automotive Group is partnering with UVeye to install automated drive-through scanners across its 43 Michigan dealerships, representing more than 60 franchises. Any Michigan driver can receive a complimentary scan, regardless of vehicle make or where it was purchased.
