With its Street View technology, Google has been confronted with lots of issues from irate Japanese folks to Americans who are in the process of throwing invasion of privacy lawsuits against the internet mogul. That aside, Google has faced another predicament, that of taking photos of places which the Chevy Cobalt or the Opels Astra just can’t access.

To solve the problem, the internet giant utilized three-wheeled, human-propelled tricycles equipped with 250-pound Street View camera in a uniquely decorated box. With the weight of the package the trikes (as the three-wheeled machines are called) need a specially trained and extremely fit driver. These new trikes will first be deployed this spring in Genoa, Italy. If it meets with success there, Google will bring it next to the UK where it will be taking shots of a large number of popular English landmarks.
