he bid for taking over the Italian coachbuilder Carozzeria Bertone is still open until 16th of July. The latest offer came from Fiat but in the form of a separate direct buying offer, apart from the biding. Among the bidders announced until now there are names like FAW Group Corp, a Chinese car maker, Gianmario Rossignolo, an Italian entrepreneur and a Spanish consortium which didn’t reveal its name. By the end of July the Italian bankruptcy court administrators is expected to announce who will win the bid and take over Bertone.
