Mazda will be coming out with a range of fuel-efficient vehicles in 2011. The Japanese manufacturer aims to improve fuel efficiency across its product lineup by as much as 30% by 2015. Mazda is reportedly focusing on four-cylinder and rotary engines.

However, Mazda has not revealed which models would be powered by improved powertrains. While previous reports speculate that the redesigned MX-5 convertible and Mazda5 will receive the greener engine, Seita Kanai, head of Mazda Motor Corp.’s R&D division, counters that the entire range would be provided new engines by 2015.
