Some Chrysler Group executives will meet with the U.S. Treasury Department’s auto task force. A Treasury official confirmed this on Tuesday, however no public statement is expected to announce what will transpire.

Chrysler has expressed its intention to issue a five-year business plan in November. Fiat S.p.A. got a 20% ownership stake in Chrysler and full management control as Chrysler emerged from the bankruptcy in June. In exchange for its stake (valued at billions of dollars) in the automaker, Fiat has agreed to provide small-car technology to Chrysler.
