Just thought I'd inform everyone of a recent incident I experienced at Bill Knight Collision at 41st and memorial. I took my car in after a wreck to get the back passenger door fixed. After already having my car for 9 days, it then sat on their lot for a day and a half before I was called to pick it up (keep in mind I'm having to use a rental until then, luckily I'm not having to pay for it). When I picked up the car it was to find it had been trashed and stunk to high heaven. The back passenger floor mat was missing, as well as two vinyl records and 3 school books (also 2 shelves that they were able to find). They also put 132 miles on my vehicle and brought my full tank of gas to a quarter of a tank (again for door repairs). I called and spoke with a manager who then asked me to come back to Bill Knight Collision to talk about what has happened. While I was there the manager, as well at 2 other grown used intimidation and accusations to try and convince me that none of this was their fault and I was wrong about what was missing and the condition the vehicle was returned to me. After a meeting with "the boss" I was called today to be told that the only thing they were going to "do for me" was replace the floor mat and tank of gas. Do not take your business here! They are nothing but liars, thieves and bullies!! BEWARE!!On 4/30/2011 9:15:57 PM ambersteph wrote:
Unfortunately, Nelson's screw-ups would take days to catalog, so I'll just give you some highlights (this has all been going on since I bought the car two and a half weeks ago)... They promised they'd fix two small door dings and a broken key fob when I bought the car. They had my car all day on TWO separate occasions and still, the dents remain. I was told I'd have to take the broken fob to another dealership (nice customer service, eh?) to be fixed. Exasperated, I told them to completely forget everything, that I'd be by after work to pick up the car. When I got there... wait for it... they couldn't find my car. Lol. After sitting in an extremely ugly orange chair for half an hour, I was handed my keys and I got out of there before they could jack something else up. Funny thing, though: when I got home, the 'unfixable' key fob was fixed. It's magic! ;-)
One thing I thought I'd mention... This dealer is on dealerrater.com multiple times under slightly different names. This one happens to have a decent overall rating. Check the rest before you make the decision to deal with these imbeciles.
