Springs has been a very helpful and accommodating dealer to work with. My friend had told me about them and he got some $$ for doing so through their referral program--pretty sweet for sure. They have a nice selection of inventory ranging from "starter cars" ($3k Buicks, etc) to BMW Ms and lifted trucks. DJ and Dave took great care of me and worked hard to get me a good deal even though I have poor credit, including a recent repo. I was ready to pull the trigger on a loaded Lincoln when a Civic Hybrid just arrived in as I was signing the paperwork. DJ knew this was a better fit for me, and even though I was sold on the Lincoln, he had me check out the Civic. Instantly loved the Honda and the idea of using literally half the gas of the larger car. The whole team, including the owner and finance manager, happily worked for hours to unwind the previous deal with the lender which had already been submitted for processing with the state and bank. They even managed to get me a better interest rate the second time around. Stated verbally that he would sell the car at $X price then placed $Y price in the written loan paperwork.
Promised to fix the few found defects with the car on the 'WARRANTY'. .... WHAT WARRANTY? Actually Fixed the door lock and then scratched the car in the process...
TOTAL OF UNDELIVERED WARRANTY PROMISES = over $1500
Waited until after the nice verbal sales pitch to say I was unable to drive off in the car if I didn't get insurance immediately, then while I was on the phone with insurance pushed all sorts of paperwork in my face and demanded it couldn't wait. He was pushy because he was lying.
That's was "Kevin" the owner.
How about Dave the sales guy.
Initially seemed nice but you can tell something is a bit off about the guy.
Kept talking about the low price (that I was screwed out of)
Promised the marks on the hood were just leftover car wax. If they weren't the NON EXISTING Warranty would cover it and the couple other noticeable things.
BLEW UP ON ME IN THE STORE WHEN I STATED I WOULD BE WRITING A BAD REVIEW BECAUSE THEY LIED!
Just emailed me a happy 1 year anniversary of being screwed over. Yea, happy happy, joy joy.
