Acura RDX review
The compact sport luxury SUV niche was not so long ago a non-existent thing, though recent years have seen an increasing number of entrants, including German, Japanese and American offerings.
The next several years will see even more added as Mercedes brings its GLK to the mix and Audi rolls out the Q5.
With so many cars vying for a relatively small portion of overall sales, the competition is fierce, and small weaknesses can be magnified. It’s a case of automotive survival of the fittest.

Another lousy Acura design. Acura has become a tasteless, cheesy, desperate looking brand. Stick with the Honda CR-V.

What's good about a system that is designed to have front and rear axles deliberately turning at slightly different speeds? This speed differential is accommodated by constantly slipping clutches, which by the way, are also constantly wearing out. That is a long-term reliability issue with me.

For you EnnNorak there is nothing good at this sh-awd torque vectoring system but for bmw and audi it`s good enough to use similar torque vecoting awd systems in their new cars - bmw x6 and later in audis .

Wow, such hate. The only bad thing about this vehicle, dynamically, is it gets poor gas mileage for a four. Even a turbo four.

RDX 17/22, combined 19
CX-7 16/22, "" 18
X3 17/24 "" 20
EX 16/23 "" 19
LR3 12/17 "" 14
The MPG seems to be comparable to its competition. I guess you guys think it should get Civic numbers because it has a 4 cylinder.

No, I have a good friend who has an RDX and she said if she drives quickly, which she is prone to do, the vehicle will get about 15 mpg. When she cruises, she says she's lucky to see more than 20. Who cares what the gov't says? In the real world, the gas mileage stinks.

Turbo 4's and 4000lbs due not a sports sedan make. Mazda and Acura really have fallen off the boat with this one. I dont mind the engine or the size of the vehicle, its the weight thats killing these cars. Both get horrible mileage. Lose 500lbs and call me in the morning.

I think this luxury compact suv segment is more of an oxymoron. That includes this, the X3, etc. They're all quite hideous.

Out of this segment so far The EX35 is the fastest and nicest looking out of the bunch just a failure because the back seat is there for show only...second would be the BMW nice ride good sport feel but cheezy interior
the GLK looks ugly and I think the Audi might take this segment when it comes out looks sweet
The RX is Lexus's smallest suv which is bigger then these but rides like a elegant "Minivan"
The Turbo lag on the Acura RDX is horrible and the interior feels cheap..dont believe me just grab the handles to get out the car feels like if you pull too hard they gonna break
