You are an idiot, comparing a mass produced Toyota with a different badge and price hike to a hand crafted, extremely limited production Bentley Arnage???

The Bentley's 6 and 3/4 Litre V8 has more heritage in it (it dates back to 1959) than Lexus has and almost more than Toyota as a whole!

The 2 cars couldn't be more different, and the Bentley has been around since 1998 so it is clearly not an answer to anything from Lexus. In fact Bentley couldn't give 2 tailpipes about a Lexus. The Lexus is easily the bettter car though, but it is the most boringly, contrived car on the market next to the old-school Arnage.

Toyotaman...you have GOT to be kidding...Mercedes means that THIS Bentley model dates to 1998...the Bentley BRAND goes back to, I don't know..the 1920's or 1930's and has a very rich history. The Lexus BRAND began in 1989. Try to at least know the basics before challenging people.

...and the horrible design?
Come on, the back looks like a horse float with a trunk!

And since when do we compare a Lexus to a Bentley?

The Bentley brand is partition on its own, no matter who makes them.
Well, from a buyers perspective anyway.

This Bentley is gorgeous, the interior is like on a yacht, great. Probably less reliable than the Toyaota, hahahhahhahaha. Toyotaman, you're comparing onions and kiwies.

I have always liked the Arnage. It has a classic beauty about it that wears well and the interior with its chrome pull knobs is charming.

I like the optional rear box limo window in this picture. In addition, the interior colors actually are very complimentary. I'm very familiar with one [a 1998- it is a little different one the outside] that has an exceptionally similar scheme- the top of the dash borders on "peach" but it is very calming and serene to experience.

"it is a little different one the outside"

Well and the inside for that matter...

That rear window is cool, I think it's an option though.
I have always loved the Arnage, the colour schemes one can have...endless.
Any colour inside, contrasting seatbelts, door handles, roof linings, steering wheels, about 100 woods...and that's before you get to Mulliner, which is "anything goes". Snakeskin hide with ivory trim? Why not?

Just remember, the 1998 (green label) "only" has a 4.4 TT V8, "red label" cars have a proper Bentley engine. They changed the name again to become the R, RL and T, when the T was introduced.

Toyotaman may be off the wall with most, if not all of his comments, but what's equally unnecessary are all the enraged, and often just as ignorant responses to his comments...

This site with you characters is so frustrating. Leave the LS alone. It's luxury is second-to-none for cars in its price range.

Not to worry. The governmentt has already mandated tire pressure monitoring for 2008. What annoys me is that the Mercedes S-Class has what their marketing weasels call tire pressure warning system that warns you when one of the tires does not meet the pressure spec but the driver is left to guess which tire offends him. Mercedes then offers to sell you(for a few hundred dollars extra, a tire pressure monitoring system that identifies the eaxct offending tire. That is pretty bad for an S-Class, especially since the incremental cost of the latter system is negligible.
