I, even being a lexus fan, thought that the LS600H L was a big disapointment. Edmunds gave it a pretty bad review, that showed equal performance to the LS460 in 0-60 times and worse economy; for me, this wasnt the benchmark of the luxury segment.
Now, however, Car and Driver has tested the car, prototype version and they seem to think that it is a good car. lol
here are the times they recorded.
"Lexus proudly claims a 50-to-70-mph time of 3.5 seconds, and we beat that by 0.4 second at the test track. We also beat the company’s 0-to-60-mph forecast of 5.5 seconds by a 10th and matched its quarter-mile claim of 13.8 seconds."
this is not meant to start a flame war, but to perhaps clarify some of the cloudiness that made us think worse of the hybrid
