Can you really get a 335i sedan for under 40K?

Well lets see. Sticket windown at dealers normally starts at $38,998 + TTl, but if you talk in them to knockinh 2,000 from the deal which will be $36,998 which is impossible because according to the sellers at BMW the Bemers sells themselves, but that will make it $36,998 + ttl which will probably end up at $39,998...
So the answer is yes....

No way. Once you throw in premium package and metallic paint it's already 42,700 brfore tax.
Car and Driver is just a pathetic magazine. The worst I've seen.

Is the lexus IS really faster then the G35? Driving both of the you wouldnt think that were the case. The IS is fast but does not perform well. Its like a fast ES with less interior room. To much of a luxury feel and not enough of a sporty feel which is good for some people.

My sister owned a IS350, feel fast but the room is really small, the back even worth.

It's all visceral; the is is quiet and smooth, while the g ROARS and vibrates. All that extra noise gives the impression of faster acceleration.

Umm... what happened to the G8 GT??? Which by the way just beat the Charger R/T in the newest Motor Trend. I know this was a SRT-8 model that won but the Pontiac still could have been included.

You're right, PlanB, the G8 GT is moving way up on the list once it's tested.

I still don't believe the IS350 is faster than the G35. The G35 is also faster in the 1/4 mile. Also, it would take a magician to get a 335 for under 40 especially with any options. This must be straight msrp base?

you dont believe it? I own one. I will destroy any g35 with my 306hp. and yes I do own one. anyone thinking its a smaller es is a fool who clearly has never driven any luxury car. the es really is an old woman car. its pitiful to drive. the is 350 is THE car. civilized when it needs to be, an embarassment machine to other 'drivers' in mbs and 3 series [non turbo]. I just love crushing civics and other rice balls with their coffee can mufflers and no juice.
