As we've seen with Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe's review of the Porsche Cayman GTS, he loves the latest mid-engine Porsche.

There's good reason for this: it's damn good.

So, what happens when you lop off the top?

Though the best automakers have been able to make convertibles quite stiff in recent years, there's still a slight difference apart from a coupe and convertible. BUT, if it's so negligible why NOT enjoy some fun in the sun?

This is the difficult question Sutcliffe tackles as buyers will have a tough decision to make if they're shopping for the best two seater on the market.
