Since we first set eyes on the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class we've been mighty impressed. While its exterior is more curvaceous and evoking the big daddy S-Class, we were far more interested in its interior that is class leading.

Turns out we're not the only ones.

Recently Consumer Reports filed this quick video giving its first impressions of the all-new Mercedes. Having just spent a week behind the wheel of the all-new C400 I have to say its findings are pretty spot on.

The interior is quite stunning but the redundant controls are noticeable. Where this three-pointed star will surprise you is how nimble it feels on the switchbacks and how well done its steering is. It's numb — what did you expect in a Mercedes — but very direct and responsive.

If you're in-market for a $40-55,000 sedan, this is one you cannot miss.

Listen to what Consumer Reports has to say about the C300 in the clip below!

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has a sleeker look and beautiful interior. It comes with some nice standard options but you'll pay extra for a backup camera and voice commands for your phone.
