Consumer Reports recently got its hands on not one, but two, all-new Jeep Cherokees for testing purposes. Now that the vehicle has been hitting the roads after a delay due to the vehicle's nine-speed automatic transmission, it will be interesting to see how it fairs out.

So far I've seen about a handful and it looks pretty good on the road.

Although our very own Agent001 has already told you how impressed he was with the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, it's always interesting to receive other data points. That said, check out Consumer Reports' initial impressions below.


Resurrecting a much loved nameplate, the Jeep Cherokee brings a modern SUV to the Jeep stable. Unique features include a nine-speed automatic transmission, an optional V6 engine and advanced electronic safety equipment.
