The Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe is the pinnacle of what the company is capable of. It's the flagship.

Equipped with a biturbo, V12 motor capable of over 600 horsepower and over 700 lb.-ft. of torque, it's certainly a quick auto. But, aside from that, it's also built to be a very luxurious product. That means it has to be comfortable and make the impression of a Bentley when it pulls up to your destination.

Featuring polished wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber and matrix grilles up front, it's clearly not a standard S-Class. But what else is there about this vehicle that dials it up to 11?

Well, I'll let Motor Trend's Jonny Lieberman do the rest of the talking.

Excuse the lack of any genuine criticism or insight here, they did just hand him the keys to a $250,000 object.

On this episode of Ignition, presented by Tire Rack, Jonny Lieberman tests the all new Mercedes Benz S65 AMG Coupe. Packing over 738 lb-ft of torque from its a twin-turbo V12 and an interior that would make even Horacio Pagani stare in admiration, this top-of-the-heap S65 AMG coupe has enough class and road presence to transform the CL into a distant memory. Will it be enough to see off its pricey rivals from Bentley and Rolls-Royce? Stay tuned to find out!
