“We need this to be in Monte Carlo, Tokyo and Marfa by Thursday.”

“No problem. Have it downstairs by 3 p.m.”

It’s a common occurrence around our place. Yet the response is anything but. Despite the legalese of being “common” carriers, the good folks of DHL, FedEx and UPS all do an uncommonly exceptional job.

We suspect the process involves a bit more than what meets the eye here at 1499 Monrovia. Nonetheless, we feel it is most appropriate at this time to examine three superlative delivery vehicles.

We’re gratified that these three companies were up to the extreme rigors of our extensive and exhaustive test program. And, in truth, for these highly efficient people and their ultra-optimized operations, it probably felt like a day off."
