Inflation sucks, doesn't it?

The new 3-series sedans have engine refreshes, and ALSO price refreshes.

The BMW 335i is $2,400 more than the 330i it replaces.

(For those of you on a budget, the 328i is only $1,700 more.)

But wait, the packages went up too.

Premium package is up $250.
Navigation up $100.
Steptronic up $100 (if you want paddle shifters).

Consider, BMW was the most expensive sports sedan to begin with. Now they've priced themselves even higher than the 306hp IS350 and G35.

BMW's 300 horsepower engine was supposed to COMPETE with them!

How many of us who would have bought a 255hp 330i (at a mere $36,300) would have to step DOWN into a 230hp 328i because the 335i price is just to high?

Faster BMW engines... huge markups... this is good news?

See how fast you can go from 0 to $50k. Price a 335i for yourself.
