its funny. There are so many american cars (american owned companies) on that list, but here in the US, our lists are all Japanise car companies.

What else except Fords!?! Volvo and Mazda could be owned by Ford but are not americans, even Fiesta, Mondeo and Euro Focus are created in Europe specially for europeans. Opels are exported to USA like Saturns, but not imported, so I don't think that there are any reason for comperison!?!

Check out the list and you'll see that GB prefers european and japanese cars exclude Fiesta, Mondeo and Euro-Focus, which are actually europeans too.

Toyota isn't very competitive in Europe - we don't get half your cars, no trucks, only 1 MPV/Minivan, the Previa, no Camry, no Avalon, no coupes, only 3 SUVs (RAv-4, LC + LC Amazon). And many of their models are now getting a bit old ie the Avensis or the Previa.
