The Grand Cherokee now has two performance choices - the quick and fast Hemi that shuts off four cylinders, and the torque-heavy Bosch/Mercedes diesel that can run on fuel you make in your backyard.

Both push you back in your seat, and both gulp down fuel quickly, but the two are very different in character.
