Asinine article. With 268hp, the C-Class is certainly not aiming at BMW. I wish this were not the case! Come on M-B, bring it on!

the C-Classes interior looks cheap. No seat memory or keyless entry. Talk about cost-cutting

I'm not sure about that. The new C is supposed to have 3-position seat memory. You're right about KEYLESS GO, though... it's optional.

In Europe Keyless go is optional on every single model, from A150 to SL65.

I still can't stand the looks of this new C-Class as it looks too compact/insignificant, and that blunt nose is very off-putting.

How can the proportions of an entry-level Mazda3 looks so right, and this look so wrong?

Actually its quite good looking with the Sport Trim

I never like it when i first saw the pictures but i have seen quite a few in the UK with the Sport Trim (AMG Clothes and Rims) and it looks very nice.

i have to give Mercedes their due. The C350 in Black is very good looking. The AMG wheels are a perfect fit and the interior is sharp, especially the Breast Cancer edition with the two-tone leather. The C300 on the other hand is not as nicely looking unless you get the sports one. I do not like the luxury version at all.

From some angles it looks like previous generation S Class.

Nice but a bit boring and too mature-like(old man) in it's category.

I can actually see why you'd say that- not as youthful as the IS, A4 or 3 Series. But it's a Merc, and they never will be. You've gotta love them.

Yesterday I saw a black one parked right next to a black S class. They both are beautiful.

The new look is beautiful; and the price is near perfect. However, I can't get past the "silly shifter"(they don't offer a manual for the C350), and the fact that even though it's priced well, I can only imagine what the maintenance costs will be over the life of the car; considering Mercedes doesn't offer a maintenance plan like BMW does.

For sport, I would take a BMW 335i, for luxury, comfort and reliability I would have a Lexus ES350 instead.

Please leave.

The IS is way more youthful than the C-Class. That much is apparent.

"Bad taste" doesn't equal "youthful", just make sure you understand the concepts.

I love the looks of the new C, so I test drove it. It was the Sport model, but I found nothing sporty about the drive. In no way compares with my non-SP 328i...the C felt very ordinary, IMO. Dissappointing for me. Interior of the C was unimpressive as well.

LS VS S Class

S Class is more mature-like(old man).

GS VS E Class

E Class is more mature-like(old man)

C Class VS IS

C Class is more mature-like(old man)

ML VS RX

ML is more more mature-like(old man).

No one can deny this.Everybody knows which one is more youthful.

U got your answer.

Lexus is the old man's car. EVERYBODY knows that. The Lexus average buyer is 60+ years old. CASE CLOSED.

What a surprise. You gave us your expert opinion and, SHOCKER! The Lexus won every time!

The average age of an S-Class buyer is about 10 years lower than the average for an LS buyer.

GS, I would give you, but with the Sport Package, the E looks better.

The C Sport is more youthful than the IS.

The RX is a car for housewives like mine (she has one). So is the ML. Neither are particularly impressive in their category.

The new bodystyle is excellent, but the performance is poor. Plus, I dont feel like spending $65k for the AMG.

I had no idea that 0-60 in six seconds flat was now considered "poor."

As for the C63 AMG... what, you'd rather spend $65K on an M3? Because the C63 and RS4 definitely give BMW a fright- both handle as well as the M3.
