Review: 2008 Pontiac G8 GT on CarReview.com
"What’s most right about the G8 are the essentials for a luxury sports sedan - a big, powerful V8, taught, sinewy suspension, perfectly centered weight distribution and of course, rear-wheel drive. But what’s even more intriguing about the G8 is something that no other V8 luxury sports sedan can currently claim - a sub $30,000 sticker price." Read Article

Pontiac did a great job. They're thinking like the Europeans now :)

Yeah. Pontic did nothing. It is a rebadged Holden/Vauxhall. Holden has been selling cars like this in Australia for decades.

Pontiac has a winner on its hands! It is about time for GM to introduce such a great bargain priced car.

As a proud Aussie, I am very pleased that we are exporting a car that offers such a strong total package for such a competetive price. But in truth, it has only been in the last few years that Australia has been able to make such a good car: the previous generation Holden had somke pretty old underpinnings and the corresponding Ford also had some issues. But now, we are well able to compete with the latets offerings.

And to all my American friends: every morning when you get up and every night when you go to sleep, say a prayer to God that you are lucky eneough to live in a country where such great cars are so cheap. You really need to visit some other places and see what people pay...
