Review: Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
Less than a year out from its return to the U.S., Alfa Romeo has developed a new flagship whose launch will coincide with the revival of the Biscione shield in the world’s largest car market. Development of a high-end niche model like the new 8C Competizione is a risky move for any carmaker, let alone a rejuvenated brand like Alfa Romeo, but with order books filled up and a general consensus that the new 8C is one of the most stunning vehicles in production, it appears Alfa’s gamble has paid off. Pretty shape... No Doubt!

But it's certainly going to be a difficult sell in the U.S. at the proposed price, and I wish that more attention had been paid to making the multi-lens headlight assemblies look more elegant/expensive.

As they are, the back interior looks like a very cheap afterthought...

Instead of limiting this beauty as a halo car no one will ever see for a line of mediocre cars no one in america will want to buy, why not build a lot of them and sell them for 80-100k? You won't get anyone into the showroom if the halo car is so rare none of them have one.

I agree, the price is a little steep. Even if it's alfa's exclusive super car, but they aren't just selling these, theres the 159 and the famed Spyder, All of the cars seem to be spoken for and then some, it will be good to see an italian in the mix amongst audi bmw and benz.
