The New Mercedes C-Class C200K Elegance Make Sense in Less Opulent Form
There’s no doubt that Mercedes’ new C-Class has been a big hit. But so far, the models we’ve driven have been pretty upmarket.

Many have had large engines and high specifications, not to mention price tags that would make most buyers think twice about taking the plunge. So, does the newcomer make as much sense in less opulent form?

Starting at £24,117, the C200K still isn’t cheap, especially when you add £1,195 for the Elegance package and £1,095 for the automatic gearbox on our car. But it certainly feels every inch a Mercedes.

From its scaled-down S-Class looks to the richness of its paintwork and the heavy thud as you close the door, the baby Benz ticks the right boxes.

Lets hope the reliability of this one is better than the last. I do like the looks of the sport version of the c.

The reliability of the W203 was fine after the facelift. Together with the later variants of the W163 M-Klasse the W203 C-Klasse was very high on the ADAC reliability list and also had few break downs.

The extensive testing that went into the W204 C-Klasse should result in a bullet proof car. My personal W204 C220 CDI Classic has been very reliable the last four months I've owned it.

I really don't know why david 999 is deboosted for this. I agree on what hes saying. deboost me if you like but before facelift of the last one, this car had numerous problems electrically where the sunroof would randomly open and close and the power windows.

I think the elegance model looks better than sport but the Lexus IS is still the class leader.
