The Diesel Driver's BMW 335d project car just turned six months old and continues to provide "sports-car acceleration with exemplary fuel economy" according to Jonathan Spira, an editor there. The 425 pound-feet of torque apparently don't diminish as the car gets older and help "propel the car to from 80 km/h (50 mph) to 130 km/h (80 mph) in what feels like a split second."
