Judging from the amount of views EVERY single story about the all-new Mazda6 has received, we'd be happy to say that this vehicle has captured your interest.

I can understand why. When the Mazda6 concept -- dubbed the Takeri -- made its debut at one of the major auto shows it received TONS of attention. Rightfully so as it was so damn good looking.

Now the concept has come to reality in form of the Mazda6.

Aside from how it looks though one has to wonder: How does it drive? Thankfully our friends at Autocar have published a first drive impression so YOU can get a better idea.


What is it like?

...The most entertaining aspect of driving the new 6 is the short-throw, nicely mechanical gear lever action, much like the one in the MX-5. A noticeably firm ride quality sets a sporting tone to the car the moment you drive off, with the standard 19-inch wheels of the Sport making their presence felt as well.

Sadly, the steering fails to match these sporting pretention. It never builds any real weight the further you turn, and it feels slightly disconnected around the straight-ahead...
