Smart presented two greener Smart ForTwo models at this years’s Frankfurt Auto Show. Smart showed the brand new ForTwo micro hybrid drive (mhd) for the first time along with the new diesel Smart ForTwo cdi. The two models will join the current Smart ForTwo range in October of 2007.
Powered by 71 horsepower engine, the Smart ForTwo mhd will be the first Smart to feature the new start/stop technology. The Smart ForTwo micro hybrid drive gets 54mpg which is equivalent to an CO2 emmissions of 103 grams per kilometres. The Smart ForTwo mhd will cost €10,490 when it goes on sale at the end of October
