Both models are powered by a 3.0-liter V-6 with 228 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Transmission options include Benz's now familiar seven-speed automatic and a six-speed manual (available only for the C300 Sport). The range-topping C350 Sport Sedan comes with a bigger V-6 that puts out 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The 2008 C-Class will be arriving in dealer showrooms come August 7. Both C300 variants will be available with 4Matic all-wheel drive starting in September. 4Matic will not be available on the C350.
