Back in July a report popped up from Automobilwoche that BMW is working on a front-wheel-drive car. Being a pretty slow day here in the automotive industry, we were out looking to bring you something fresh and we came across more information on BMW’s A1 rival.

What we know: The car will be a front-wheel-drive MINI that will make its debut around 2010 or 2011. The car is expected to measure 3.75 meters, sharing the basis of the MINI Cooper. CO2 emissions are to remain well under 100 g/km. The car will arrive at the end of 2010 after the next-generation Audi A1 makes its debut in 2009.
