Hyundai Gives Up On The Ever Shrinking Tokyo Motor Show Canceling Weeks Ahead

After witnessing all of the Detroit 3 pull out from the 2009 Tokyo motor show, we didn’t think the Japanese show could grow even smaller -- but it has. New reports claim Hyundai has also withdrawn from the show, just weeks before it is scheduled to open to the press.

According to Toyokazu Ishida, a representative from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), Hyundai “called last week and Hyundai called last week and orally confirmed their intent to cancel. It's unbelievable.”
