The McLaren F1 is largely considered the greatest supercar that ever was. While there are faster vehicles, like the Bugatti Veyron, none have lived up to the purity and spirit of the F1.

That's because the F1 is involving.

But it's been quite some time since McLaren initially launched the infamous F1. Now hot on the heels of the MP4-12C, McLaren is said to be preparing something even more epic. Dubbed the P12, the next McLaren supercar is under development.

Sources have said the P12 looks "like something out of iRobot," and will be powered by the MP4-12C's 3.8-liter V8; however, it will have a KERS energy system for added power when needed. All in all it is said to total up to 800 horsepower.

The question is: What SHOULD the new McLaren have to properly follow the lust worthy and legendary F1?

The P12 will use a similar carbon Monocell structure as the MP4-12C, but with less budgetary restraint – the P12 will cost a reputed €750,000 – there is even more carbon in the bodyshell and structure, to trim weight to the absolute minimum.
